i have been skating for about a year now and ive just been getting into doing lots of sets and ledges. Also i have been snapping boards like crazy since then. I have tried darkstar armor light and that lasted me a mnth,blank decks : a week, girl:1 mnth,plan b 1 mnth and a half, and anti hero a mnth. what would be the most long lasting skateboard you guys can suggest for me? thnx
Either Birdhouse or Alien Workshop are strong decks that last a long time.
In the city/suburbs? The only tricks I plan on doing are ollies to jump off/on curbs. Would a pro skateboard brand be good or a blank deck ordered online suffice as well?
Also, it seems that wheel size and the height of the trucks are the most important factor, which size would be best and what brand of trucks?
I eventually plan on getting a skateboard for tricks once I get more used to cruising.

I am trying to help put together an event and I want to offer skate decks to kids to design themselves. I keep finding blank decks that say they are made of Canadian Maple that are cheap, but I also want to buy quality functional decks.
If Canadian Maple is not the best, what kind of wood do you recommend?
90% of the skateboards in the world are made from canadian maple. It’s the best choice, best quality, and easiest to shape thats why it’s used. Those decks are cheap beacause they are "blanks" meaning they have no graphics, mostly the cost of the skateboard is because it’s got the brand name on it and some graphic on it but if you don’t have that then they become a lot cheaper. You have a good idea for the kids hope you stick with it.

I was wondering if I should get a CCS Black Slick Deck (Blank) or another brand such as Girl or Foundation. Does the brand of the deck affect the griptape, or anything? Or is it just the image?

if you want to save money just get a ccs deck there not bad but if not buy a girl plan b or almost and get mob grip tape it’ll let you use less effort for your tricks

okk So i just broke my Almost

i need a Cheap board to last me until christmas(christmas i get a Plan B)…The cheap board can be built or come with the pieces to build eithers okk

I think alot of those r the same board different prices but idk anything about these cheap blanks
btw i’m trying for sumthing,light and durable
i can do basics like ollie,fs 180 ollie,fs/bs shuvits,ect.
Also
if i add abunch of skateboard logo sticker on it will that affect me skating?
My friend said it does but idk sounds like a lie lol
dude, just buy a blank board, and put your old trucks and wheels on it, it should be fine
ooh and no stickers wont affect u at all, i always add them..
my friend one time bought a blank and a bunch of sticker and made his own board..
